Yogita Dandekar goes topless to support Anna Hazare
The Marathi actress Yogita Dandekar is up against corruption and finds an unconventional way to show her support. Though thousands of Indians have thronged Ramlila Maidan in Anna’s support, the actress chose to pose topless, painting her upper body in tricolour.
The obvious question arises: is it for publicity? Yogita Dandekar, who has done a couple of commercial Marathi films, says that she has proved herself and is not like Poonam Pandey or others who just claim to go nude and then come up with lame excuses. Not only has Yogita dropped her top, she has also painted herself in tricolour and posed in front of cameras donning Gandhi topi. Yogita even inked ‘Anna’ with white on her back.
She claims to be a true Indian by heart and has supported Anna Hazare for the last ten years. The actress’ spirit is high; Yogita says she can even dance naked if Jan Lokpal Bill is passed in the parliament. Others who have pledged to support Anna by stripping off their clothes are a Delhi-based model Salina Wali Khan and Yuvraaj Parashar.
